Join us for Beyond Birthing’s take on the prenatal Newborn Essentials class. This class serves as your backstage pass to the incredible journey of newborn and infant care. This class covers every practical thing you need to know about bringing your baby home.

Key Topics/ What to Expect:

  • Immediate postpartum newborn information

  • First few days in the hospital & at home (what to expect for birthing person, partner & baby)

  • Feeding choices

  • Your new routine

  • Questions to think about NOW and making a plan

  • All things sleep: swaddle, safe sleep, baby & parents

  • Interacting with baby

  • When to call the pediatrician

  • Postpartum mental health wellness

  • Dedicated time to answer all of your questions! 

In addition, we will dive deeper into:

  • Creating a postpartum support plan

  • Shifts in schedules, expectations & relationships

  • Establishing healthy routines and boundaries

  • How to keep all members of your support team on the same page

Ticket price includes pregnant person plus one support person.

You will have access to Dr. Dana's office hours to ask questions at any point along your journey.

When Should You Take This Class?

We recommend taking this class during your third trimester, although it can be taken at any stage of pregnancy. Partners and grandparents are strongly encouraged to attend, as this is a great way to get everyone on the same page and learn up to date evidence and practices.
