Refund, Cancellation & Illness Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Because our classes, groups, and workshops are intentionally small and intimate, space is limited. This policy helps us maintain the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of our offerings while honoring the time and energy of our providers and community.

By registering for services at Beyond Birthing, you acknowledge and agree to the following policy.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing or through our scheduling platform and are subject to the following timelines:

• 7 or more days before the scheduled service:
  You will receive a 100% refund, less any non-refundable payment processing fees incurred at the time of booking.

• 3 to 6 days before the scheduled service:
  You will receive a 50% refund, less any non-refundable payment processing fees incurred at the time of booking.

• Less than 3 days before the scheduled service:
  Refunds are not available. However, we are happy to offer a credit toward a future Beyond Birthing offering, subject to the exclusions noted below.

Please note:
Affiliate-hosted classes, groups, professional development workshops, and other third-party offerings are not eligible for credits or refunds unless otherwise stated. Before canceling, we encourage you to review our rescheduling policy, which may allow you to transfer your registration to another date and avoid cancellation fees.

Rescheduling Fees

Prenatal Education Classes & CPR: We understand that unexpected situations arise. However, our educators carefully prepare for each class based on enrollment numbers, and last-minute changes can impact both instructors and other families seeking to attend.

• More than 48 hours before the scheduled class:
  You may reschedule your registration at no charge, subject to availability.
• 24–48 hours before the scheduled class:
  We are happy to transfer your registration to a future class for a $50 rescheduling fee.
• Less than 24 hours before the scheduled class:
  We are happy to transfer your registration to a future class for a $75 rescheduling fee.

Prenatal & Postpartum/Baby & Me Yoga:

We understand that life with a growing family can be unpredictable. To support flexibility while also honoring our instructors’ preparation and limited class sizes:

• Your first reschedule is complimentary.
• Any additional reschedules will incur a $12 rescheduling fee per class.
• All rescheduling requests are subject to class availability.

This policy helps us keep classes accessible, maintain small class sizes, and ensure fairness for all participants.

Processing Fees

To help keep our programs accessible, we are unable to absorb payment processing costs associated with cancellations. Therefore, all refunds are issued less a 3% payment processing fee incurred at the time of the original booking.

Because these fees are charged directly by third-party payment processors, they are non-refundable and will be deducted from any eligible refund.

Illness Policy

We ask all families to help us care for themselves, our educators, and our community. If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness, we strongly encourage you to stay home.

When available, you are welcome to attend your scheduled class, group, or event virtually via our live video option. This allows you to participate without forfeiting your registration or incurring rescheduling fees, when applicable.

Masks are always welcome, and we encourage everyone to take the precautions that help them feel most comfortable, including physical distancing when possible.
