This is a companion class to all of our Labor and Birth Preparation Classes .This class fills your oxytocin (the main hormone of labor!) toolbox and gives birthing people and their partners the opportunity to explore ways for coping through all stages of labor, whether or not pain medication is part of your birth preferences.
Gain the knowledge to navigate the challenges of labor with greater ease and confidence. Join us to prepare for a positive birth experience focused on maximizing your comfort and well-being.

Physiological and psychological comfort measures to help you stay comfortable and cope throughout pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum
How to be an active and engaged support partner
Fascial release and massage
Hands on techniques to provide physical support through all the stages of labor
Pushing positions that optimize physiology, comfort and gravity
Emotional support strategies
The importance of learning and practicing comfort measures before labor begins

WHEN: This class can be beneficial at any stage of pregnancy, but we recommend taking it after you have completed one of our Labor and Birth Preparation classes, and in your third trimester.
